"Quick and Easy" doesn't normally describe online photo layout software. That was until PhotoBookPro™. This is truly the best system available on the market today. It is the perfect tool for flush mounted albums for weddings and other events.

With its consistent and intuitive interface throughout, you will spend more time designing and less time trying to figure out how to do things. You start in the Book Editor where you can select an existing book project or create a new one. You can view the cover layout or the interior pages. Once a project is finished just click on Order Book to order printed copies. The Book Editor also provides options for generating and downloading a PDF to your PC for printing or online distribution and proofing.

There are three different ways to upload photos to a book. Photos can be uploaded directly to the Photo Gallery. Photos can be imported as book pages. Finally, the Picnik™ image editor can be used to access photos from photo sharing web sites. You can use any one or all of these methods. In all cases the original photo is retained in the Photo Gallery. From the Photo Gallery you can conveniently select and insert photos into your page layouts. There is never a need to upload a photo a second time.

To continue with the book designing process, right-click1 on any page of your book. A context menu will provide options for adding, deleting, copying or moving the page. When adding a new page, there is a large selection of layouts from which to choose...but that is only the beginning.

You can import pages directly into your book from the BookEditor. Right-click1 on a page and select Import... This opens the Uploader dialog where you select the image files to be inserted as pages in your book. You can import up to 10 pages at a time. When the files are uploaded, a new page is automatically inserted into the book for each file. You can also import the cover page. After a page has been added you can still use the LayoutEditor (described next) to edit the image.

In addition to importing pre-designed pages you can also design your pages using the LayoutEditor. For either an interior page or cover, right-click1 and select Edit... to pop-up the Layout Editor window where the layout is displayed for editing. Here you can change just about every element on it (any image, text or the page itself) as well as add new ones. You can move and re-size by just dragging with your mouse. ..move an image element to the edge of the page to make it a full bleed....drag sides of image element to enlargen it so it covers the entire page.. ..etc, etc . What could be simpler!

Right-click1 on the element to edit its contents or change its display properties. A context menu will appear with the following options for an image element: Select, Edit or Remove photo, Border style, Border color, Show caption, Add image element, Delete element. For a text element you will have the options of: Edit..., Text style, Text color, Background color, Drop cap style, Drop cap color, Border style, border color, Hide. The page/background itself can be right-clicked1 to Select, Edit or Remove photo, Select color, Show title, Show comments, Add image item, Hide. You will find your (page layout and design) options to be virtually unlimited. Any page layout that you create is easily re-used just by copying and pasting a clone of the page to a new position in the book.

The Photo Gallery is always available for easy access to your photos. Just click on "Insert photo" to add it to the page. You can re-size the image element, zoom the photo, re-position it within the image frame, etc. A helpful photo count is shown for the number of times the photo is included in the book.

The Picnik™ Photo Editor is seamlessly integrated into the PhotoBookPro™ system to provide access to your photos and awesome editing capabilities. Right-click1 on an image element and choose Select photo. This opens the Picnik™ editor where you can browse the available photo files on your PC or those stored on popular photo websites or even your own website. The selected photo is then loaded into the photo editor and you have a wealth of options available. There are amazing Edit tools that can fix just about anything that could possibly go wrong with a photograph. A bunch of the editing tools are one-click fixes, including auto-fix, exposure, colors, and red-eye. And the others, like rotate, crop, resize, and sharpening, can be controlled with easy-to-use sliders.

Move over to the Create tab and you'll see custom-made Effects(most of which have the ability to be painted into just the areas of your image where you want them), an awesome text tool with dozens of fonts, dozens of shapes, including seasonal shapes for holidays and events, and some super customizable frames. Not to mention the touch up tools and the Advanced Editing tools.

When done editing your photo, click on the Export To My Book and your photo is added to your page layout. You now have the options of moving, resizing and positioning the photo anywhere on the page. Use the Zoom buttons to enlarge the photo or shift-click on the photo to move it within the image mask. Tweak the photo and image mask to achieve the desired page desgin. The possibilities are almost endless.
